Great Lakes AOCs

Great Lakes Legacy Act The Great Lakes Legacy Act (GLLA) provides federal funding to accelerate contaminated sediment remediation in Areas of Concern (AOC). The Legacy Act has been a tremendous success. EPA has invested over $362 million to address contaminated sediment, leveraging an additional $251 million from nonfederal sponsors.
